What is the key purpose of an Advertiser Account Management Team Lead?
As an Advertiser Account Management Team Lead, you will lead a team of Account Managers responsible for developing growth strategies for an existing book of business across ANZ. You will act in a consultative sales capacity, partner with cross-functional teams, and identify up-sell/optimisation opportunities.
What will I be doing on a day-to-day basis?
- Adapt to the unique demands and challenges of the ANZ Market. This will include managing client relationships amidst the backdrop of a highly competitive environment, last minute campaigns etc, being flexible in managing KPIs and creating solutions on the move rather than relying on a specific menu, being open minded to learning, relearning and frequent testing and working closely with sales team to scale through delivery of effective campaign performance where necessary.
- Lead and develop the account management team in ANZ, fostering a collaborative environment that mirrors Taboola’s values and industry excellence.
- Achieve quarterly revenue targets with a focus on client retention and scaling existing business.
- Oversee onboarding, training, performance management, and career development for the team.
- Ensure the team understands Taboola’s policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
- Track key account metrics and provide regular reports on revenue forecasts, pipeline development, and client retention.
- Analyze data to identify growth opportunities and develop strategies accordingly.
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key clients through quarterly business reviews and strategic meetings.
- Act as an internal advocate for client feedback.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Technical Support teams to enhance client experiences and solutions.
- Work collaboratively with the Country Manager by actively supporting strategic decision-making through accurate forecasting and comprehensive reporting. This involves gathering and analysing relevant data, identifying key trends and insights.
What skills and qualifications do I need?
Must haves:
- 5+ years of professional client-facing experience in digital advertising.
- Outstanding relationship management and client service skills.
- Exceptional communication and comprehension skills.
- Possesses strong critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to commercially interpret large datasets.
- Ability to prioritise and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate within a high-performing team.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable with ambiguity.
- Foster and instill a growth mindset within the team.
