We’re looking for an Implementation Team Leader to join Taboola News Services group. We’re looking for a strong technical leader, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can expertly manage a team of junior Developers.

The Implementation Team Leader will be responsible for overseeing the team's day-to-day activities, identifying opportunities for tools development, and mentoring the team to help them reach their full potential. You will be working closely with the delivery projects team, to implement Taboola News custom solutions to the biggest mobile OEMs, mentor junior developers and guide them through tools design and development, complex integration processes, troubleshooting and investigating issues carrying out technical conversations with Engineering teams.

At Taboola, we currently work in a hybrid work model giving employees the flexibility to work from home a few days a week. We have offices in Ramat Gan and Beer Sheva and are looking to grow to additional locations such as Jerusalem, where our Taboolars have the opportunity to meet their teammates, connect with other teams and socialize with friends.

What are some of the things you do on a day-to-day basis?

• Lead & Manage a team of talented implementation developers with various skill sets, to meet demanding SLAs and high quality standards
• Contribute as a ‘hands on’ personal contributor, and become the focal point for technical inquiries
• Identify opportunities, push for tools development, and mentor the team throughout the process.
• Own and manage multiple data initiatives and projects
• Take part in engineering discussions
• Drive innovative solutions and tools development to improve delivery operation and team efficiency
• Research and analyze large volume data sets in order to generate useful conclusions and actionable recommendations
• Identify, troubleshoot and solve highly complex technical escalations coming from the field
• Process driven
• Understand and create priority for a team in a high demanding environment
• Work with Taboola’s Engineering and Product teams on enabling new features for Scale
• Continuously work to improve the KPIs and deliver exceptional service

What are the skills a good Implementation Team Leader needs to have?

• 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer
• Experience in the SaaS industry.
• Understanding and working with multiple networking environments
• Able to technically lead and mentor other team members
• Bachelor’s Degree (computer science preferred or comparable work experience)
• Ability to drive professional growth by providing mentoring and guidance to junior developers
• Experience with hiring and developing talent
• Self-motivated individual with ability to multitask and work in a highly dynamic environment
• Ability to understand data and to transform it into insights
• Experience with large-scale production services and databases – SQL, NoSQL, KQL
• Strong communication skills and excellent English, required to communicate daily with our global teams.
• 1+ years of experience in managing a similar team – advantage
• Deep knowledge and proven work experience in the Ad Tech – advantage
• An independent, self-starter, with a “can-do approach
