About the Role

Join the Applytics team at Riskified and help us revolutionize how e-commerce businesses manage risk. Our mission is to build a sophisticated automation platform that powers our analytical decision engine, helping to optimize our merchants' performance and provide clear explanations for our decisions.

In this role, you'll be at the heart of our operations, building a highly reliable and complex workflow architecture that connects the dots between our advanced data science models, internal tools, and customer-facing interfaces. You'll work with a modern tech stack in a cloud-native environment, deploying code daily through our cutting-edge CI/CD pipelines.

We're looking for someone who is not just a developer, but a true owner of the systems you build. You'll have the autonomy to make a significant impact, working closely with Product, Data Science, and Analytics teams to shape our roadmap and products. This is your chance to contribute to cross-departmental projects and collaborate with talented engineers across the company.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design and develop a robust, scalable workflow architecture that integrates data science components with seamless user interfaces for both our team and our customers.
• Deploy your code to production daily using our advanced CI/CD pipelines, seeing the direct impact of your work in real time.
• Own the reliability of our production systems, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Data Science, and Analytics, to drive the team's roadmap and deliver high-impact products.
• Work with the latest technologies in a cloud-native environment, staying at the forefront of the industry.
• Be an active part of planning our team’s roadmap, with a voice in the products we build and how we build them.

Qualifications

• A B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent military certifications.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in server-side development.
• A passion for clean, high-quality code and a strong ownership mindset.
• A great attitude—you are an independent self-learner and a strong team player who thrives on collaboration.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js and React.
