Minute Media is a leading global technological media company, developing all its technological needs in-house, end to end, in a rapid big-data environment. Minute Media’s platform serves as the company’s foundation, powering its content as well as enabling the evolution of other market-leading digital media brands. To date, Minute Media owns and operates domains including Sports Illustrated, The Players’ Tribune, 90min, DBLTAP, Mental Floss, The Big Lead, and FanSided (B2B/B2C).

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the Video product used by both our B2B and B2C products, joining a dedicated and passionate team. We seek a collaborative person to lead the video product vision, strategy, and execution, with the ability to prioritize requirements from premium partners, multiple internal stakeholders, and clients, guiding them through data-based optimization processes to create an industry-leading video experience. You will have the opportunity to lead, learn, and grow - personally and professionally.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the video product, the growth driver of the business (O&O, B2B).
  • Balance the user experience and monetization.
  • Lead global product strategy, roadmap, and vision of the video platform.
  • Define metrics and KPIs to measure the success of your product and guide team members in performing data-based optimizations.
  • Translate vision into well-defined user stories, including prioritization.
  • Identify needs, gather requirements from multiple stakeholders and premium clients, and translate them into a coherent product specification.
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle with your multidisciplinary team to ensure the required feature set and desired functionality are delivered.
  • Work closely and build meaningful relationships with our R&D, design, editorial, sales, and marketing teams to plan and execute product initiatives.
  • Drive for creating innovative and engaging consumer products in the digital ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a product manager in B2B/B2C products.
  • Previous experience in developing video products at scale, delivering excellent customer experiences, and measuring business impact.
  • In-depth understanding of end-to-end video delivery and industry.
  • Experience working with a cross-functional team in an agile, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in technical environments.
  • A collaborator with excellent communication skills and the ability to promote initiatives across the organization.
  • Superb English speaking and writing skills.
  • Advantageous: Experience in an Ad Tech company, specifically in the online advertising industry.
  • Advantageous: Experience in a managerial position
