We're expanding our world-class team and looking for a data-driven Creative Marketing Lead to impact how millions of people around the world learn or discover something new like music, singing, drawing, and more. This is a hands-on role to lead the marketing strategy in a multidisciplinary creative growth team to drive scale. You’ll be building marketing strategies based on a strong understanding of global audiences to create messaging that resonates and have complete end-to-end marketing ownership in ads that reach millions, all in pursuit of aggressive growth goals.


What does a Creative Marketing Lead do at Simply:

If you’re truly passionate about understanding what moves people to action through consumer-centric insights, are experienced in value-led message creation and creatives for different audiences, and can turn your brilliant ideas into a comprehensive plan and persuasive messaging, you might just be our special someone. You’ll work closely alongside the creative team, acquisition campaign managers, product managers and data analysts to drive value creation for business growth.


Key responsibilities:

Lead the marketing strategy in a multidisciplinary creative growth team to drive scale

  • Identify new audiences and messaging opportunities
  • Direct-to-consumer strategy: You’ll directly influence the journey of millions of people.
  • Getting things done from start to finish: Working on multiple projects at a fast pace from conducting research, positioning, building the marketing strategy, creating the “brief” for creatives, hands-on execution, messaging, and measuring results. No challenge is too big!
  • Turning consumer-centric, quantitative, and qualitative insights into the right message for the right audience and setting the correct tone within creatives across multiple channels.

Experience and skills:

  • 5-6 years of generalist marketing experience in a global, performance-oriented, consumer company or start-up
  • +3 years experience leading and executing marketing strategy
  • A deep understanding of online ads, the creative domain and funnel
  • A growth mindset with strong analytical understanding, naturally being data and insights driven.
  • Deeply understand US audiences, the competitive landscape, using audience-led thinking to determine the best way to achieve an outcome.
  • Proven creative abilities with strong project management skills.
  • Native-level English communication skills & the ability to write your own marketing copy for creatives
  • A highly independent team player. Yes, exactly that. You’re an amazing team player, and don’t need anyone to hold your hand.
