Description
The Organizational Development and Internal Communication Director is a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for driving large-scale, cross-company projects that enhance organizational effectiveness and foster a cohesive and engaged workforce. This role requires a deep understanding of organizational dynamics, HR processes, change management, and internal communications.
The position is a temporary replacement for maternity leave.
What am I going to do?
- Develop and implement organizational development strategies that align with the company’s mission, vision, and goals.
- Lead large-scale cross-functional projects, involving various stakeholders, while ensuring seamless execution.
- Partner with senior leadership to identify and address organizational challenges and opportunities.
- End-to-end design and execute change management initiatives to support business transformation and growth.
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and other interventions to support managers, employees, and c suite.
- Develop and execute comprehensive internal communication strategies that enhance employee engagement and foster a positive organizational culture, based on the messages we wish to implement.
- Hands-on writing high impact communications related to HR initiatives, company changes, business updates etc.
- Ensure clear, consistent, and effective communication across all levels of the organization.
- Manage internal communication channels, including Slack messaging, newsletters, and town hall meetings.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Collaborate with HRBP’s and other departments to ensure smooth operations of the OD &IC goals.
- Navigate organizational nuances and influence decision-making to achieve desired outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration or consulting, or a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in organizational development and internal communication - a must. Preferably in a high-tech environment.
- A proven track record of successfully leading and executing large-scale, cross-company projects.
- Strong understanding of organizational dynamics, change management principles, and internal communication best practices and methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills.
