At-Bay publicly launched its MDR offering at the start of 2024 and immediately saw strong GTM traction, driven by the strength of the offering, effective GTM model and compelling InsurSec value-prop. We’ve built an extraordinary team to expand the offering and deliver the complete MDR offering for the small to mid-market segment.

Role overview:

This role will be our first Sales Engineer, working with our growing sales team on the more complex opportunities. As the first Sales Engineer, you will have the opportunity to set the foundation for a fast-growing cybersecurity business with an innovative GTM model and strong business mission. You'll work with the GTM leadership team and support a security business that has grown to ~50 people in the past year.

This is an opportunity to take your sales engineering experience to the next level by shaping how we sell a sophisticated security offering in a greenfield territory. We have the opportunity to connect an untapped audience at target accounts with a product that immediately delivers value.

How you’ll make an impact:

By 3 months…

  • Develop a deep understanding of At-Bay's MDR offering and the CrowdStrike portfolio.
  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders within the sales and product teams.
  • Assist in creating and delivering technical presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Start building a repository of technical resources and documentation to support the sales process.

By 6 months...

  • Lead technical discussions with potential customers to assess their needs and demonstrate how At-Bay's MDR solutions can address their challenges
  • Collaborate with the sales team to tailor solutions to the unique requirements of each client
  • Provide feedback to the product team to influence the development of future MDR services
  • Train and mentor other sales/SE team members on the technical aspects of our MDR offerings

What you’ve accomplished already:

  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with the CrowdStrike portfolio, including Falcon platform components. Experience beyond Crowdstrike is a huge plus
  • Proven track record in sales engineering in the cybersecurity sector
  • Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience collaborating with sales teams to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
