AppsFlyer’s Finance Team is looking for an experienced Salary Controller / Payroll Specialist to join our payroll team and lead end-to-end payroll operations for a large, global workforce, with a strong focus on Global payroll and full compliance. This role requires deep expertise across payroll processes, labor law, reporting to authorities, and the ability to handle complex cases in a fast-changing environment—while working closely with multiple stakeholders across the business.

What you’ll do - Global standards:

- Own and analyze end-to-end payroll processes for 700+ employees, as part of the Payroll team, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain and validate payroll master data across the employee lifecycle (onboarding, changes, terminations), ensuring data integrity across systems.
- Manage complex payroll cases (e.g., terminations, relocations, special benefits, corrections, retro payments, equity implications, leaves, garnishments, and exceptions).
- Lead payroll activities for month-end / quarter-end close, including reconciliations, variance analysis, and support for payroll journal entries and GL reporting.
- Partner closely with HR, Finance, Legal, and external vendors/consultants on payroll operations, compliance topics, and process improvements.
- Support internal/external audits and work with auditors to ensure documentation, controls, and payroll reports are audit-ready.
- Drive continuous improvement: build, document, and optimize payroll workflows, controls, and reporting in a fast-paced, changing environment.
What you bring (Must-have):
- 3+ years of hands-on payroll experience from a large scale global company (preferably 700+ employees).
- Proven end-to-end payroll expertise, including calculations, benefits, deductions, reporting, and compliance.
- Solid understanding of payroll regulations and statutory reporting; ability to quickly learn and apply local labor and tax requirements (Israeli payroll knowledge is a strong advantage).
- Ability to manage high volume, tight deadlines, and frequent changes with high accuracy.
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset, able to work effectively with multiple stakeholders (HR, Finance, Legal, external providers).
- High attention to detail, ownership, discretion, and integrity.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations, data validation) and ability to analyze large datasets.
- Fluent English (written and spoken) – must.
Bonus Points:
- Hands-on experience with Hilan systems: Hilan Pro, Hilan NEXT, Hilanet (time & attendance).
- Experience with global payroll systems and/or supporting payroll activities outside Israel.
- Experience with NetSuite and HRIS platforms.
- Good English (written and spoken)
